Hollyoaks actress Nadine Mulkerrin pregnant with first child

Hollyoaks actress Nadine Mulkerrin is pregnant with her first child.

The actress, who plays Cleo McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, has confirmed she's expecting a baby with her fiance and co-star Rory Douglas-Speed, 27.

In a post on Instagram tonight, Nadine, 25, shared her baby news as she prepared to hit the red carpet for the British Soap Awards 2019 in Salford.

She shared a photograph of the couple cradling her baby bump, and wrote: "That's us three ready for the @thebritishsoapawards".

Dad-to-be Rory plays Joel Dexter in the soap.

The couple have been together since 2017 and they announced their engagement in December.

Last year they moved into a cosy Cheshire love nest together.

The couple are attending the Soap Awards tonight and Nadine showed off her bump in a pretty white dress.

Nadine is nominated for the best female dramatic performance award for her role as Cleo McQueen in Hollyoaks.

EastEnders and Hollyoaks lead the way on the nomination front, while Coronation Street was the big winner at the 20th anniversary event in 2018.

The awards are being hosted by Phillip Schofield live from Manchester’s Lowry Theatre and the show is being broadcast on ITV.

Many of the awards are being decided by a public vote while other categories are decided by a panel of industry experts.
