Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s War continues its phenomenal run at the box office | Bollywood Life

Since new releases have failed miserably at the ticket windows, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War continued its dominance at the box office. The film currently stands with the grand total of Rs 305.95 crore and we can expect it to touch the Rs 310 crore by the end of the weekend. Though it might struggle to cross the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320.24 crore) as three Bollywood releases Saand Ki Aankh, Housefull 4 and Made In China are coming this Friday. War has turned out to be the highest grosser of the year and honestly, there are only two films – Housefull 4 and Dabangg 3, who has the potential to beat War.

HR shared screen space with Tiger Shroff for the first time in War. When asked about his collaboration with the Baaghi 2 star, Hrithik Roshan said, “I was learning. I was constantly watching his honesty, integrity, the process that he applies. To pull off a two-hero film, you need two people, who are honest and have love and admiration for each other. With Tiger, I feel so much love and admiration for the person he is and the actor that he is.”

2019 has been a fruitful year for Hrithik Roshan with Super 30 being critically acclaimed and loved by the audience, too, and now War, which showcases Hrithik in a drastic transformation in a full-fledged action avatar. The actor, who switched between polarizing genres in no time, said, “Professionally, it has been a very special year for me. Both the successes have been so empowering. It has only motivated and encouraged me to keep following my instincts and work hard.” Hrithik further shared, “This success has been the sweetest for me. As for action films and me being a match made in heaven, I’d love to believe it too, as it is the genre I enjoy the most.” Anyway, have you liked the film? Tweet to us @bollywood_life
