Jamie Laing has 14 groomsmen at Spain wedding amid Spencer Matthews ‘snub’

Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has revealed he has chosen 14 groomsmen for when he ties the knot to wife Sophie Habboo in Seville, Spain.

After Spencer Matthews said he and his wife Vogue Williams "weren't invited" to Jamie and Sophie's London ceremony, Jamie, 34, shared on GK Barry's podcast Saving Grace that he picked out 14 groomsmen, two best men and one best woman for his upcoming wedding in Seville.

Grace asked: "Was there any beef when you chose your Bridesmaids [Sophie] and, what is it… groomsmen?" to which Sophie replied: "I was smooth sailing, but you on the other hand have chosen 14…"

Jamie began to explain: "I have a lot of groomsmen," before Grace interrupted with: "Have you got enough suits for that? Sold out a f*****g shop!"

Jamie said: "I have my groomsmen and 2 best men and 1 best woman. There was no drama in that one."

The host continued to ask: "You just had to include everyone?" to which the star replied: "But it’s hard!"

This week, Spencer faced much criticism from claims he purposefully "snubbed" his best friend by deciding to go on holiday to Portugal with his wife Vogue Williams, 37, and their three children at the time of Jamie and Sophie's nuptials.

But the star set the record straight saying he wasn't even "invited".

He shared on his Spencer & Vogue podcast: "Sophie looked absolutely magnificent, we were absolutely thrilled for them, but we also did not know it was happening because we were not invited.

"I’m being absolutely hammed for ‘snubbing’ my best friend’s wedding to go on holiday… I’m not here to b***h about my best friend but there’s been some serious miscommunication from him.”

Spencer added: "I just want to set the record straight. I’m not here to whinge. I was not invited to this part of Jamie’s wedding, and neither was Vogue.”

Vogue also revealed she won't be attending their wedding in Spain due to work commitments.

The model said: "I'm raging because I can't actually go to the wedding, and it's not my fault. My manager messed up my schedule and I actually have a show on the day of Jamie's wedding."

Jamie previously revealed that Spencer wouldn't be his best man for his wedding, as he said on their shared podcast 6 Degrees: "Spenny wants to be [best man], but I’m not going to give it to him.

“He didn’t make me godfather to his first child [Theodore, four], he made me godfather to his second child [Gigi, two].

"He wouldn’t give it to me at first, so he’s not going to be my best man. Maybe in my second marriage he can have that role."
