Lata Mangeshkar’s niece quashes death rumours, says, ‘Don’t believe fake reports’ | Bollywood Life

Although the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is stable now, there are rumours pumping in between about her demise. Putting all these rumours to rest, Lata’s niece Rachana has come out to confirm that the singer is doing fine.

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The Lag Jaa Gale singer was admitted to the hospital on November 11, after she complained of difficulty. And now the singer is recuperating as she has returned home after staying in the hospital for a few days. Although the legendary singer is stable now, there are rumours pumping in between about her demise. Putting all these rumours to rest, Lata’s niece Rachana has come out to confirm that the singer is doing fine. While talking to a website, Rachana urged fans to “ignore all the fake reports” as she quashed the death rumours.

On the other hand, Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, also tweeted about the singer’s stable health. He wrote in a tweet, “A group of doctors from Cleveland Clinic, US, visited Lata Mangeshkar ji today. Happy to inform, her health is steadily improving.”

Earlier, Lata’s PR team has issued a statement regarding her well being. The statement read, “Lata Mangeshkar ji had viral chest congestion. Keeping her age in mind, as a precautionary measure, she has checked in to Breach Candy Hospital in order to ensure antibiotics on time to prevent any more infection. She is stable and recovering.”

Just after her admission to the hospital, Rachana spoke to India Today and said, “We have admitted Lata Ji to keep her comfortable and she is better than last night. In a matter of 3-4 days she will be absolutely fine. Her condition is stable, and on the path to recovery.”
