Piers Morgan has once again hit out at the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle as she releases a new children's book.

The dad-of-four, who previously said the Line of Duty finale was underwhelming, criticised Meghan, 39, for writing a book about a father and child relationship, when she doesn't have any communication with her dad Thomas.

Writing in his latest Daily Mail column, the 56 year old penned: "The whole notion of Meghan Markle dishing out advice to anyone about the relationship between fathers and children is absolutely ridiculous given the appalling relationships she and her husband have with their own fathers.

"Yet her brazen decision to do it anyway is so sadly typical of a woman whose tendency for staggering hypocrisy is only matched by her extraordinary tone-deafness.

The outspoken star continued: "If she really cared about father-child relationships, she’d take a chauffeur-driven limousine on the hour-long trip to see her own father who’s never even met either Harry or Archie.

"And if she really cared about father-child relationships, she would never have trashed Harry’s family on global TV in the horrible way that she did, causing yet more damage, possibly irreparably, to Harry’s relationship with his father."

Piers also took offence to the fact that Meghan credited herself to her royal title on the cover of her new book.

"Yet when it comes to flogging her book, what author name does Meghan Markle use? Ah, of course: 'Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex," Piers went on.

"Yes, she continues to cynically exploit her royal titles because she knows that's the only reason anyone is paying her vast sums of money to spew her uniquely unctuous brand of pious hectoring gibberish in Netflix documentaries, Spotify podcasts or children's books.

"Of course, her equally cynical publishers don't give a damn about any of this shocking double standard."

Meghan confirmed the release of her brand new children's Book, titled The Bench, on Tuesday.

She said in a statement: "The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story.

"My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the make-up, as much much as it does with mine."

Piers quit his role on Good Morning Britain after receiving backlash for his comments on Meghan and Harry's bombshell tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Following his exit, Piers, who recently slammed Coronation Street star Seb Franklin, has continued to share his views on the former actress and questioned whether or not Harry was happy with his wife, following their interview with Oprah, as he claims it was "out of character" for the Duke of Sussex.

Writing in a previous Mail On Sunday column, Piers penned: "I expected such disingenuous, self-serving wrecking-ball stuff from a social-climbing Hollywood actress like Ms Markle, but for Harry to publicly shred his family and the Monarchy like this, while Prince Philip was seriously ill in hospital, is so out of character for a man who once bravely served his Queen and country in war."

The television personality added: "He can't be happy doing this, surely?"
