Posthumous Pop Smoke Track ‘AP’ From ‘Boogie’ Released

Late rapper Pop Smoke‘s new song “AP”, which will appear in the soundtrack of upcoming movie Boogie, has been released.

Smoke will make his posthumous acting debut in the Eddie Huang-directed Boogie, which will tell the coming-of-age story of Queens basketball prodigy Alfred “Boogie” Chin. Smoke plays the character of on-court rival Monk.

Boogie is set to release next month. A trailer was released for Boogie back in January that prominently featured Pop.

Smoke’s posthumous debut album Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. All 19 tracks on the album also charted on the Billboard Hot 100 following its first week of release.

Smoke was killed during a home invasion in February 2020 at the age of just 20.
