Stacey Solomon has revealed she is struggling to get her youngest son Rex to eat his dinner.

The Loose Women star took to Instagram Stories to post a video of herself trying to feed the 18-month-old tot, who would then pass the food back to her rather than eat it.

Mum-of-three Stacey, 31, whose partner Joe Swash, 38, is Rex’s dad, told fans she hoped it was a passing phase and that it wasn’t a serious problem.

She wrote: “Anyone else have a baby who is refusing to eat at the mo?

She wrote: “I gave up on dinner. My mum says, they eat when they’re hungry so don’t worry.

“So Im going to just accept the phase and hope he comes out of it soon.”

Stacey, also mum to Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight, regularly shares glimpses of her family life on Instagram Stories, including mischievous Rex’s antics.

Last week, she revealed that the cheeky toddler had emptied the contents of a packet of crisps all over the kitchen floor, leaving a huge mess.

But tidying fan Stacey, who found fame on The X Factor in 2009, was happy to clear up the mess after the little angel flashed his mum a grin.

Meanwhile, the popular TV presenter gave fans an update on her grandmother, who had recently fallen ill.

Stacey took a break from social media over the weekend after revealing that her grandmother had been hospitalised.

But she has since told followers that her beloved gran was thankfully on the mend.

She wrote: “Missed you all loads this weekend. Just catching up on your messages. Thank you. You’re amazing.

“Grandma is doing much better. This weekend she ate some toast, chatted to my mum for a few minutes and sent us a message with made our day."

Last week Stacey told fans she was worried about her grandmother, who she couldn’t visit due to Covid restrictions.

She wrote: “Sorry I've been so quiet, my Grandma isn't very well.

“Last night was really scary but looking much more positive this morning so we are all hoping and praying for the best.

“We aren't aloud to visit obviously because of lockdown and as much as we are desperate to give her a cuddle we hope we won't need to visit.”
