Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer announces gender of second baby in sweet video

Dani Harmer has announced that she is expecting a boy and enlisted the help of her daughter Avarie-Belle Betsy to reveal the news.

The Tracy Beaker actress, who previously fired back at fat-shaming trolls as she said that 'size 10 isn’t huge', shared the heartwarming announcement with her 144,000 Instagram followers on Saturday 27 November, captioned: "Some news from Avarie-Belle".

Dani, 32, who shares daughter Avarie-Belle, five, with partner Simon Brough, posted a clip of her adorable little girl holding a baby grow behind her back as she exclaimed: "Guess what guys! I am having a baby brother!"

Avarie-Belle, who wore pink pyjamas with 'sister' embroidered on the top, looked delighted as she held up the baby grow which read: "Brand new little brother."

It comes after the actress announced her pregnancy news in August and penned: "Han solo had Chewie. Frodo had Sam. Shrek had Donkey.

"Now be prepared for the adventures of Avarie-Belle and as of yet unnamed bump, coming February 2022" followed by a pink heart emoji and blue heart emoji, hinting she doesn't yet the know the gender of her second child.

The family were soon flooded with messages of congratulations in the comments section of Dani's post.

One wrote: "How super, congratulations" next to a red heart emoji.

Another added: "Omggg congrats !!!", followed by a red heart emoji and party popper emoji.

While a third penned: "AHHHH A HUUUUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL", with three yellow heart emojis.

Strictly Come Dancing star Dani and partner Simon welcomed their first child, Avarie-Belle Betsy, in 2016.

Dani and her sales manager man Simon began dating in 2015, around a year before welcoming their first child together.

Actress Dani shot to fame as she starred in The Story of Tracey Beaker, based on Jacqueline Wilson's popular book, in 2002.

Since playing Tracey, Dani has starred as Janet in a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show in 2013 and has since starred in a series of Tracy Beaker spin offs, including Dani's House from 2008 to 2012, Dani's Castle from 2013 to 2014.

She reprised her role as a grown-up Tracy in BBC show, My Mum Tracy Beaker earlier this year.
