Vicky Pattison’s wedding plans explained – from venue to guest list and dress

Vicky Pattison is excitedly gearing up to tie the knot with fiancé Ercan Ramadan.

The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2019, shortly after Vicky’s split from ex-fiancé John Noble. Announcing their engagement in February 2022, the pair celebrated with a lavish bash in London last summer.

But Vicky went on to admit that plans for next year’s wedding had ground to a halt as they had been occupied preparing for the party.

Vicky, 35, and Ercan, 29, have also been busy focusing on their future family plans, with the former Geordie Shore star recently going through the egg freezing process.

But now, with the help of a wedding planner, arrangements appear to be back in full swing. From the venue to the show-stopper dress, here’s what we know about their big day so far.

Setting a date

The couple had planned to say “I do” this year, but in July Vicky revealed that planning their engagement party – held at 14 Hills restaurant in London – had taken over their lives. “It was like a wedding – it was massive!” she said.

Vicky later let slip that their big day will now be in 2024. “Our wedding planner lives in the Cotswolds and we’re going to stay there in a dog-friendly hotel in September. We’re taking [their Labrador] Milo and we’re going to get our heads down with it.”

The venue

Vicky previously admitted that she wanted to tie the knot in Italy because she “loves pizza and pasta”, while Ercan was campaigning for his native country, Cyprus.

But it seems Vicky got her way, as she’s revealed that they’ve picked their venue following a trip to the country.

Alongside a picture of the pair standing arm in arm on a balcony at a restaurant in the Italian town Polignano a Mare, Vicky wrote, “The smug faces of two people who think they’ve just found their wedding venueeeeeee…

“Our trips to Italy have been amazing and we’re so grateful to our gorgeous @everythingorganised and @dillybutler [their wedding planners] for their patience!

"We literally fell in love with every single venue we saw, then panicked about money, guests and logistics and talked ourselves out of it… only to do it all over again at the next venue. But this is normal right??? RIGHT???!”

She continued, “But I think it’s safe to say we’ve been blown away on this last trip – I cried, @ercan_ram started asking about the food (both of our love languages right there) so we’re feeling hopeful and excited.

"I just need you guys to keep everything crossed for us so it all works out.”

Alone time

Despite her plans for a big wedding, Vicky has shared that she wants to make sure she and Ercan are able to take it all in, after admitting she learnt a lot from her engagement do.

“On the wedding day I’m going to ask my wedding planner to take us away for half an hour just for ourselves,” she said.

“I had the best time celebrating with my friends and family, but I didn’t get much of a chance to actually be with him. So, we’ve learnt on our wedding just to have some time for us.”

The dress

Vicky has wasted no time when it comes to trying on dresses. In January, she took a trip to luxury bridal boutique The Wedding Club in London, which specialises in designer gowns from the likes of Vera Wang, Vivienne Westwood and Zuhair Murad.

Vicky wrote on Instagram Stories, “Today was incredibly special… Thank you @theweddingcluboffical for having me.”

Vicky also visited Abigail’s Collection in Colchester last November. “I just love wedding dresses,” she said at the time. “I do love a show stopper. If it’s sparkly, if it’s sheer, if it’s got feathers, I’m trying it on.”

Vicky has said she’s planning not one, but four gowns: “I want to get married officially at a courthouse in the UK. I want to be very classic and elegant,” she explained.

“And the night before the wedding I want beachy boho and then on the wedding day everyone is going to be surprised because I think I’ll go really traditional.

“And then at night time that’s when it’s party time and I’ll change into something super short and sexy.”

When it comes to the budget for her dress, Ercan said, “There’s no stopping her! She can do what she wants, wear what she wants.”

Beauty prep

The big day may not be until next year, but Vicky is giving herself plenty of time to make sure her skin is on point.

Sharing a video on Instagram last week, the star told her followers she’s been having Profhilo – an injectable treatment to improve skin tone and radiance – in a bid to look her very best.

“Let Operation Wedding Skin… BEGIN!!!,” she wrote alongside the clip. “I’ve been visiting @drninafacialsculpting for years and I absolutely LOVE her!

"I want my skin to look young, healthy and glowing but I still want to look like me and I don’t mind looking 35 – I’m proud of my trips round the sun and it doesn’t bother me that I’m not getting ID’d for Red Bull any more.

“However I’m only human and I still want to look like the BEST version of 35 year old me. And listen, if I get mistaken for a 33 year old sometimes I am NOT complaining.”

Vicky went on to say that she’s been having the treatment “regularly for a while” and is “really pleased” with the results so far.

The 'sten'

As well as having a hen do and a stag do, Vicky has revealed she and Ercan are also planning a “sten” – a combination of the two.

“I’m so excited about this,” Vicky said. “He can have his stag, I can have my hen, and we can have our ‘sten’. So, all our couples, all our mates, my lad mates, we’ll all go to the same place. I think we’re going to do it in Dubai, where we got engaged.”

Celebrity guest list

If the guest list of 150 people at Vicky’s engagement party is anything to go by, the wedding will no doubt be a grand affair.

And there will be a string of famous faces in attendance, as the couple have revealed that celeb pals will include Mario Falcone and his wife Becky Miesner, Ferne McCann and her fiancé Lorri Haines, Alex and Olivia Bowen, Pete Wicks, Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet.

Although they haven’t decided on bridesmaids or the best man yet, Vicky previously asked former TOWIE regular Ferne as well as Love Island star Casey Batchelor to be her bridesmaids when she planned her wedding to her ex John in 2017, before it was called off following cheating allegations.

Meanwhile, Vicky was on maid-of-honour duties at her sister Laura’s Mexico wedding in 2019, so it’s likely that her sibling may return the favour.

Vicky and Ercan are also working out how to transport their pooch Milo overseas, so he can be the honorary ring bearer. Cute!
