War continues to enjoy a phenomenal run at the box office. The Siddharth Anand directorial featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff released in cinemas on October 2. Since day one, their action-entertainer has made some earth-shattering records and set the box office on fire. Within just 11 days of its release, the film has crossed Rs 250 crore mark in the domestic arena. Also, the action-entertainer has surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Vicky Kaushal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam’s Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 245.36 crore). Needless to add, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger’s action flick is all set to beat Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh and emerge as the highest-grossing film of the year.

The total box office collection of War stands at Rs 257.75 crore. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the official box office numbers of the film on his Twitter handle. “#War flies high yet again… Biz shows a big upturn on [second] Sat, making its journey to ₹ 300 cr a surety… #War [#Hindi; Week 2] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 11.20 cr. In an interview with IANS, filmmaker Siddharth Anand opened up about the possibility of War’s sequel. He said, “It’s too early to talk about it, but I definitely had an idea to convert this into a franchise. We were waiting for the audience reaction to the film. Now, I feel that it’s an audience demand more than our desire. We will soon sit together to decide our future course of action.” Well, we would really like to see Hrithik and Tiger packing some punches performing high-octane sequences all over again.
