War global box office: Hrithik Roshan- Tiger Shroff starrer all set to BEAT Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh | Bollywood Life

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War is on a roll! Their film has done phenomenally well at the domestic as well as the global box office. Within just 9 days of its release, the action-entertainer crossed Rs 350 crore mark globally. If this doesn’t declare War, a global hit, we don’t know what will. Sharing the global box office numbers of War on his Twitter handle, Taran Adarsh had earlier tweeted, “#War crosses $ 9 million in the international arena… Extended Week 1 total: $ 9.090 million [₹ 64.47 cr]…#USA – #Canada: $ 2.775 mn #UAE – #GCC: $ 3.420 mn #UK: $ 600k ROW: $ 2.295 mn Note: Few cinemas yet to report. #Overseas.” Soon, the official BO numbers were out and we got to know about the fate of War in the global arena. Summing up the gross box office numbers of the domestic and global circuit, the total collection of War stood at Rs 350.5 crore.

Considering the gross box office collection of day 10, which is approximately Rs 290.22 (domestic) and Rs 65 crore (global), the total BO collection of War is Rs 355.22 crore. Needless to add, the Siddharth Anand directorial is all ready to beat Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh at the global box office. The worldwide gross box office collection of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial is Rs 379.02 crore. And we wouldn’t be surprised if War manages to achieve this feat in the coming days, as the action-entertainer was off to a flying start.

Meanwhile, our critic Urmimala Banerjee was all praises for Hrithik and Tiger’s action flick. In a 3.5 star review for the film, she wrote, “Coming to the actors, Hrithik Roshan drives the film with his charisma. We are sure some of the scenes will have separate fandoms. He is looking smoking hot. And Anand has captured him with a lot of love. His Kabir is cool, intense and wry at the same time. Tiger Shroff matches his mentor in every frame, especially in the action sequences. The young actor comes into his own in the climax where his acting chops stand out. Vaani Kapoor brings in some respite from the non-stop action and drama. Both the songs had the audience whistling and clapping in the theatre. Ben Jasper’s cinematography gives the movie a sleek and rich look.”
