Doctor Who Treated Jagan in Knife Attack Now got plum post

Neurosurgeon Dr. Buchipudi Sambasiva Reddy has been appointed as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. In the presence of Deputy CM and Health minister Alla Nani, Sambasiva Reddy took oath as the chairman.

Dr. Sambasiva Reddy was the key person in CM YS Jagan’s infamous ‘Kodi Katthi’ case. He was the one who examined Jagan’s injury and prescribed the medication for Jagan.

On Thursday, the YSRCP government has cancelled the old council appointed by the previous TDP government and formed a new council with 10 members. Except for one person, the rest of the members have took oath with the assistance of Health Department chief secretary Jawahar Reddy.

The new council members are Dr. Rajyalakshmi, Somasekhar, Registered Medical Practioners Sambasiva Reddy (Guntur), Varaprasad Rao (Eluru), Vijay Kumar Prasad Reddy (Anantapur), Dr. Babji, Public Health Manager Geetha Prasadini, Health Vidana Parishad commissioner Durga Prasad and NTR Health University Vice-Chancellor CV Rao.

After the swearing-in ceremony, the council met and elected Sambasiva Reddy as chairman and Dr. Rajyalakshmi as vice-chairperson. After this Alla Nani called on the new council and held a review meeting and sent directives to them based on CM Jagan’s instructions.
