Hot Topic: Modi’s Special Treatment to Vijay Sai Reddy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for an all-party meeting today at Delhi which witnessed an interesting incident after the meet. Soon after the meeting, an interesting incident took place at Library hall in the parliament. As soon as Modi had walked out of the hall, the Prime Minister greeted all the present MPs over there as a courtesy. But to special Vijay Sai Reddy who was standing at some distance, PM Modi had waved his hand and signalled him to come towards him. Seeing Modi’s signal to Vijay Sai Reddy, onlookers were quite surprised. Vijay Sai Reddy had rushed to Modi and Modi had shook hands with Vijay Sai Reddy and asked him, “Kya Khayal Hai”. To this, Vijay Sai Reddy gently replied and after brief conversation, Modi had walked out.

It is buzzed that this is a clear indication of YCP and BJP’s growing bonhomie, say political pundits. This comes close on the heels of AP Assembly passing a resolution in favour of Special Category Status. It can also be noted that YS Jagan’s personal request to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to ‘soften’ Modi’s heart on granting SCS to AP.

The all-party meeting saw the absence of five major political parties including Congress. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, DMK chief Stalin had stayed away from the meet. Mamata Banerjee, Mayawati too stayed away and expressed concerns over Modi’s “One Nation, One Election” project.
