SSC JHT, SHT, Hindi Paradhyapak exam today: Check important instructions

SSC JHT, SHT, Hindi Paradhyapak exam: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is scheduled to conduct the recruitment exam for the post of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), junior translator, senior Hindi Translator (SHT) and Hindi Paradhyapak today – November 26. This is the first exam of the recruitment process and those who clear the same will qualify to appear for paper II.

Before you set out for the exam, here are some important instructions to keep in mind:

Admit card: No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without valid checking. It is mandatory to carry the SSC admit card along with photo identity proof to the exam hall for verification purposes.

Exam pattern: Paper-I will be computer-based objective type question paper. It will access candidates on general Hindi and General English, each for 100 marks. The exam will be for two hours’ duration. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

Passing marks: Candidates will have to score 30 per cent marks in each exam to be deemed passed in it. For OBC and EWS category candidates the cut-off is 25 per cent and for other reserved category candidates, ut is 20 per cent. In case too many candidates pass the exam, the selection will be based on merit. Based on the performance in paper-I and paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification.

Salary: For the post of a junior translator, candidates will get a salary in the pay scale of Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. For SHT posts, selected candidates will be awarded a salary in the range of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. The Hindi pradhyapak will be paid in the matrix of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5,400.
