SS Rajamouli restarts the filming of RRR

After the lockdown of more than 150 days, the makers of SS Rajamouli starrer RRR have resumed the shooting of their magnum opus and it is indeed great news for all the movie buffs. The makers shared a promo, in which we can see all the technicians, right from light men to the main lead of cast, gearing up for the shooting. Featuring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in key roles, the period drama is being made on a budget of Rs 350 crore.

Yash resumes the shooting of KGF 2

Just like RRR, the shooting of another pan-India film, KGF 2, resumed recently. The lead of the film, Yash announced this news on his social media account as he wrote, “Waves can’t be stopped but you can learn to sail.. After a long break.. #Rocky sets sail from today.” Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in key roles.

Amitabh Bachchan joins Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s mega project

As the megastar Amitabh Bachchan is set to celebrate his birthday tomorrow, the actor has given an advance treat to his fans by signing Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s pan-India sci-fi venture. Talking about it, director Nag Ashwin said, “It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is. So, it is not a guest role or a special appearance…but a full-length role so important that his character’s name was the working title of an early draft.”

Vijay Sethupathi comes on board to play legendary cricketer Muthiah Muralidharan in his biopic, 800

The versatile actor of Kollywood Vijay Sethupathi, who has multiple projects under his belt, has come on board to play legendary cricketer Muthiah Muralidharan. He shared the news on his Instagram account and wrote, “Honoured to be a part of this landmark project. Update soon.” The film will be bankrolled by Dar Motion Pictures in association with Movie Train Motion Pictures.
