Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Erica Fernandes, Karan Patel shoot for their last scenes; here’s how Anurag and Prerna’s story will end

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will soon go off-air. The last episode of the Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes starrer will air on October 3. The show did well but recently the episodes could not get the attention of fans. The original show had become immensely popular and was one of the iconic love stories of that time. The second season just could not be as good as the first one but Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes were appreciated for their performance. Their sizzling chemistry was the highlight of the season. Now, the show is ending and Erica Fernandes and Karan Patel recently completed the shoot of the show. Yesterday, the whole cast celebrated their last day on the sets of the show. In the original show, we saw how Anurag and Prerna die together in the end and then stay together in heaven. Just like that, the fans were interested to know the end of this season.

But it seems, Ekta Kapoor has planned a different ending this time. Yes, this time Anurag and Prerna will have a happy ending. A source close to Spotboye revealed, “In this series Anurag and Prerna will have a happy ending as Komolika (Aamna Sharif) will die in the end. Erica Fernandes and Karan are shooting their last day today whereas the other star cast will have their final shoot by end of this week.” Shubhavi Choksey who plays Mohini Basu had earlier spoken about the show’s end with Spotboye. She said, “The production house informed me about it. And more than being surprised, I was taken aback. This show has been and will always be a very integral part of me especially because I did a comeback on television after a long sabbatical with this.”

Sahil Anand aka Anupam Sengupta was supposed to leave the show but now was back to complete the end. In an interview with Spotboye, he spoke about whether he wanted to quit even before the show was supposed to go off-air. He said, “I wanted to quit Kasautii because I had other projects coming up, and my track wasn’t resuming. But my new project got pushed to a later date, and I received a call from the makers to come back for the last track. So, I thought why not. I did get to know that it’s going off-air. This show is actually very close to my heart. We’ve all become like a family now. It’s one memory that will always stay with me.”
