Director Siddharth Anand’s War is a monstrous hit at the global box office. While the film is set to surpass the business of Kabir Singh to become the grosser of 2019, it has already grabbed the top at the overseas market by raking in $11 million till now. It has beaten Salman Khan’s Bharat and Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy to achieve this feat. War has already entered the Rs 400 crore club globally and now we are waiting for its next milestone at the ticket windows.

Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan also praised War as he said, “I really liked the film. I think Hrithik and Tiger have performed really well in the film. Director (Siddharth Anand) of the film has also done a good job. It’s a big film and it has been mounted on a large scale. If anyone who hasn’t watched it yet then, I would like to urge them to watch the film. I am feeling really happy with the fact we have made a film in India which looks like a Hollywood film.”

When asked how important it is for a filmmaker to be religious or spiritual, the actor-director said: “We don’t become religious intentionally. Our parents have taught us to follow the religion and to offer prayers to God. We strongly feel connected to Durga mata because my mother belonged to Bengali community. So since childhood, I have been celebrating Durga Puja festival. Every year, my entire family celebrates this festival with a lot of happiness.”

“Krrish 4” was put on hold after Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with skin cancer. The veteran director has stayed away from work since his surgery. Now, Hrithik has revealed that the director is feeling much better and plans to return to work soon. Anyway, have you watched the film? Tweet to us @bollywood_life
