The Masked Dancer has certainly proven to be full of surprises so far.

But, no one seems to be as surprised that Louise Redknapp was in fact Flamingo on the ITV show than her son Beau.

Louise, 46, shared the moment her 12 year old son Beau discovered she was the mystery celebrity dancer behind the flamboyant Flamingo costume.

The former Eternal singer shared the clip on with her 720,000 Instagram fans.

It shows her and son Beau, who she shares with ex Jamie Redknapp, sitting on their grey sofa as The Masked Singer plays on their TV in their cosy living room.

Beau appears none the wiser as he is looking at his phone while nervous mum Louise sits and waits for the big unveil.

Meanwhile, the audience can be heard chanting "take it off, take it off" as the flamingo removes her mask.

Then, as Louise's identity is finally unveiled her surprised son turns his head to look at his mum.

Louise, who was "knocked sideways" by ex husband Jamie's baby news, smiles and faces her tween son, who cannot hide his shock.

The singer giggles while her son smiles and looks back at the TV in dismay.

After the big reveal, Louise added the video and snaps from her time on The Masked Singer to send fans an uplifting message.

As she shared the collection of images on her Instagram page, she told her fans: "Always be yourself… unless you can be a flamingo then always be a flamingo!"

Louise, who recently admitted she regrets Strictly Come Dancing, went on: "Thanks for having me @itv @maskedsingeruk / Masked Dancer – was so much fun to get out the house and do some dancing!

"Thanks to all the team who work on the show and all the incredibly talented dancers and choreographers was a pleasure to work with you all" next to a pink heart emoji.

She then joked about her son's reaction as she ended the caption with: "P.s I don’t think Beau was expecting to see me then [laughing face emoji] Xxx".

Although Beau was surprised to see his mum as Flamingo, Spice Girls star Emma Bunton confessed in the comments she clocked Louise was the dancer behind the costume.
